OMG I LOVE IT.

But I think it's also just... kind of amazing. And a great juxtaposition (lol THAT word) between the saturday morning cartoons of my childhood and such serious subject matter.

I fangirl-rambled last night about FMA, after seeing that OPENING!!! OMIGOD IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL. XD
So have my rambling in all its glory.... XD

In other, actually GOOD news, Erin's been reading FMA, which has reminded me of HOW MUCH I LOVE THAT SERIES. XD I watched what I did of it in a pretty large chunk, so it didn't stay an obsessive fandom, though... but now that I need to read it, and it's STILL RUNNING that means I may just become an FMA fantard ALL OVER AGAIN. XD

AND THERE'S A NEW SERIES AND IT LOOKS GORGEOUS OMAGAWD. XD I really, REALLY like how it looks just from the opening. [look up FMA: Brotherhood Opening - the song is by Yui and called [again]- it keeps getting taken down from youtube by Sony, which owns the song. : \ ] The animation is so gorgeous and the song is so damn catchy!!!

OH MAN OH MAN. NERD LEVELS RISING. XD

Tomorrow night, the KI department is having their 'Show Your Stuff Nite'- 5-8 PM in the basement of that-building-in-which-we-have-classes. XD The Terrace. ANYway, there's supposed to be FREE FOOD there, and the projects I've done for my animation class are going to be shown, along with my classmates' work, and... whatever else people decide to put in. XD I've heard rumors about a projection out in front of the building too. 8D

So, if you can come, that would be AWESOME. This is... pretty much the first show I've ever shown in! XD AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I can only come for the first hour because I have class from 6-8 [le sniff] but yeah...

Of course, WORKING on the second one, my computer had to be a pain in the butt... XD It was weird, because I had been doing so much better with computer time, and then... I kept getting distracted! WHAT.
BUT, I'm glad I don't hate how this turned out... I WAS for awhile there. XD But really, it came out nicely! And I had janitors... be nice, and not kick me out of the lab. XD I was there until 3:30 last night, omagawd... But it was worth it.

The teacher wanted to see more of my hand-drawn stuff (which I wished for myself) and thought the black frames (these gaps...) were distracting, so I took them out by making the background WHITE! :D YAY. Except now I have weird letterboxing... Final cut seems like it's set up for use on televisions, and not... computers. Which is like WHAT..........
Also, I dunno wtf is about the text being jumpy and blurry. Deven (a teacher/lab guy/awesome person) says that it's probably the interlacing. ALDgj'sdgp oijsdfgjdsg..dsag.,mgads;lgd;als;lkg. RAEG. I'm not changing it. :/
Anyway...

*Woke up at 7 AM, mom's upset at my sister, because she found a note about how my sister's going to the guidance counselor, and thinks her parents are acting 'weird.' I was like 'yeah, you are... *Was falling asleep standing up, so went back to bed, hoping to get up around 10
*Got up at... 12? 1 PM? WHAT THE FUCKING HE-
*Awaken to excruciating pain... to borrow the phrase, "THANKS UTERUS."
*Spent almost an hour in bed, waiting for the motrin to kick in, while my legs and stomach were EXTREMELY UPSET and I was nauseous, sweating, and shaking. FUN.

*Went to the lab. Worked for 2 hours, FINALLY got all the goddamned text animation done. woo.
*Mom was going down Harrison, which is stoplight HELL, got pulled over, because the light turned red AS she went through it. Didn't get a ticket, but she was upset, because I had called her before and was outside waiting. I was ok... but it was still pretty WTF.
*Downloaded a shit ton of calligraphic/Blackletter fonts to my computer. XD
