The short of it?
I pay 15 fucking dollars for a pair of earbuds at Walmart, hoping to upgrade from the shitty-ass pair I had, paying 5 extra dollars for "surround sound," and I do end up getting surround sound - but also a shit ton of electrical fucking noise. Also, they kick up the volume WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY high. It's pretty much intolerable to listen to anything but music, and even then, it's STILL annoying, especially if it gets quiet - then the static's more apparent. Goddammit.

So now I may have to buy this thing - http://store.shure.com/store/shure/en_US/DisplayProductDetailsPage/productID.104991600 - the only thing that apparently works.
EVERYTHING IS COMING IN $30 LATELY - WHY???
It's just weird.
My mac's shell, my backpack, shelving, WoW... I'm sure there were more... it's WEIRD.

Cheap ass headphones don't have this problem - that's why airlines have such an issue, apparently... but I got a nicer pair with low interference/impedence - 16 ohms - so now I have to get something to bump the volume the hell back down and make my life nice again. Thanks....

On the other hand, iTunes works like a charm. I don't trust cd's in this machine for anything - if you so much as touch it near the drive, it spazzes out and sounds like it''s coming unbalanced - so I'm importing my whole CD collection. I've got 9 cd's done so far, with... some of the lyrics. One was a mixtape a friend made for me a few years ago, and another was a collection of (mostly anime) songs the teacher I volunteered for made, so I had to look up all the information myself. Balls. It was interesting, but man...

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to bother with lyrics anymore. Especially on Gorillaz shit, since it's on the other computer and I need to GET them...

Errrgh...

Oh yeah, and I had to sign up for iTunes just to get some damn album artwork. XB Oddities abound...

Today, I finished importing all my CD's - 20+ Well, all the ones I listen to regularly, and like. XD
OOOH, it's SOOOO awesome to be able to listen to whatever I want, put it on random, not have to change CD's or worry about hurting the CD's anymore.... OMG NICE...
Then realized mom has a ton of songs I want too. DX< Durrrn...
Dicked around getting album artwork...

I copied all my stuff over to the computer, so now it's all HERE, but disorganized, and I'm sure there's doubles. SURE of it. But at least now I can dig out my files when I need them. YEAH!

Geez... I waste so much time on Youtube. XD

AND I downloaded the version of iMovie we had on mom's mac (iMovie HD) onto my hard drive, then transferred it over to this computer. And it... works?! Awesome! XD I was afraid it might have some sort of encode on it. BUT NO!!! XD

So now I'm in business. HELLZ YEAH.

I edited in a title for my AMV, and I'm TRYING to get it up on Youtube now.

I also changed my phone plan - apparently Virgin Mobile isn't a bunch of bastards who would pull some shit like I thought they would, and make me end up paying for shit if I changed it. I just now have to pay my monthly fee on the 19th of every month. YESS! XD

So good, bad, frustrating. My lower back hates me, as do my eyes. I think tomorrow I'll do some cleaning, since... I've been on my computer almost continuously since I got it. 0_0 Some... away time is probably good...

Oh fuck - ADIUM. Gotta get that yet... XD

All I did today was.. watch Shaun of the Dead, clean in the living room, vacuum, and clear out a few books from the hell-pile next to my bed. They're mostly gone now.
But shit, I need to get more things done tomorrow. : /

The bank transfer still hasn't gone through... so that means it probably won't be today, either, as it's Sunday. Damn weekends. Lol. XD

Mom wants to see Shaun of the Dead too. So I'll probably be heading out to CVS, and I'll buy a tape, since it's gonna be on again today at 2:30 PM. Because I want to keep it too, lol. XD

And it's late AGAIN! 8D I fail. But seriously, I didn't get a chance to get on the computer until nearly 2 AM, so... yeah...

Though really, I'm more amused than anything by it all...

So I go to checkout my GLORIOUS NEW LAPTOP that's costing me 2500 fucking dollars, plus the goddamn Apple Care that's $240 (SERIOUSLY) that I just KNOW if I DON'T get, something's probably going to go horribly, horribly wrong.
I find out the Bill Me Later option is actually a credit thing through CIT bank, and since I have no credit to speak of, except unpaid loans, I'm skeptical it'll work. Hmmmm...

THEN I realize that nice offer on CS3 Design Premium wasn't there. Fuck. So I go and hunt it down - it's PREMIUM, which includes FLASH like my sister's been just dying to get, and it's $400 with a computer. And considering it's some ungodly amount otherwise, and that's what I was going to pay for Standard anyway... I thought what the hell.

Now, I know you offered to give me Photoshop, but... I'd feel so goddamn guilty if I did. I don't know. Even though I just KNOW they're milking it for what it's worth. Goddamn... and I'm not sure if it's CS2 or CS3 you guys have so agagisdpgadsl. I'm taking a software class, so I want to have the right version... ommggg...
I dunno. If you get this before 11 AM and think I'm a fucking idiot, call me. I'm probably just gonna stay up, or sleep in some uncomfortable position anyway so I'll get up early. : /
