Of course, WORKING on the second one, my computer had to be a pain in the butt... XD It was weird, because I had been doing so much better with computer time, and then... I kept getting distracted! WHAT.
BUT, I'm glad I don't hate how this turned out... I WAS for awhile there. XD But really, it came out nicely! And I had janitors... be nice, and not kick me out of the lab. XD I was there until 3:30 last night, omagawd... But it was worth it.

The teacher wanted to see more of my hand-drawn stuff (which I wished for myself) and thought the black frames (these gaps...) were distracting, so I took them out by making the background WHITE! :D YAY. Except now I have weird letterboxing... Final cut seems like it's set up for use on televisions, and not... computers. Which is like WHAT..........
Also, I dunno wtf is about the text being jumpy and blurry. Deven (a teacher/lab guy/awesome person) says that it's probably the interlacing. ALDgj'sdgp oijsdfgjdsg..dsag.,mgads;lgd;als;lkg. RAEG. I'm not changing it. :/
Anyway...

The short of it?
I pay 15 fucking dollars for a pair of earbuds at Walmart, hoping to upgrade from the shitty-ass pair I had, paying 5 extra dollars for "surround sound," and I do end up getting surround sound - but also a shit ton of electrical fucking noise. Also, they kick up the volume WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY high. It's pretty much intolerable to listen to anything but music, and even then, it's STILL annoying, especially if it gets quiet - then the static's more apparent. Goddammit.

So now I may have to buy this thing - http://store.shure.com/store/shure/en_US/DisplayProductDetailsPage/productID.104991600 - the only thing that apparently works.
EVERYTHING IS COMING IN $30 LATELY - WHY???
It's just weird.

Cheap ass headphones don't have this problem - that's why airlines have such an issue, apparently... but I got a nicer pair with low interference/impedence - 16 ohms - so now I have to get something to bump the volume the hell back down and make my life nice again. Thanks....

On the other hand, iTunes works like a charm. I don't trust cd's in this machine for anything - if you so much as touch it near the drive, it spazzes out and sounds like it''s coming unbalanced - so I'm importing my whole CD collection. I've got 9 cd's done so far, with... some of the lyrics. One was a mixtape a friend made for me a few years ago, and another was a collection of (mostly anime) songs the teacher I volunteered for made, so I had to look up all the information myself. Balls. It was interesting, but man...

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to bother with lyrics anymore. Especially on Gorillaz shit, since it's on the other computer and I need to GET them...

Oh yeah, and I had to sign up for iTunes just to get some damn album artwork. XB Oddities abound...

Today, I finished importing all my CD's - 20+ Well, all the ones I listen to regularly, and like. XD
OOOH, it's SOOOO awesome to be able to listen to whatever I want, put it on random, not have to change CD's or worry about hurting the CD's anymore.... OMG NICE...
Then realized mom has a ton of songs I want too. DX< Durrrn...
Dicked around getting album artwork...

I copied all my stuff over to the computer, so now it's all HERE, but disorganized, and I'm sure there's doubles. SURE of it. But at least now I can dig out my files when I need them. YEAH!

Geez... I waste so much time on Youtube. XD

AND I downloaded the version of iMovie we had on mom's mac (iMovie HD) onto my hard drive, then transferred it over to this computer. And it... works?! Awesome! XD I was afraid it might have some sort of encode on it. BUT NO!!! XD

I edited in a title for my AMV, and I'm TRYING to get it up on Youtube now.

I also changed my phone plan - apparently Virgin Mobile isn't a bunch of bastards who would pull some shit like I thought they would, and make me end up paying for shit if I changed it. I just now have to pay my monthly fee on the 19th of every month. YESS! XD

So good, bad, frustrating. My lower back hates me, as do my eyes. I think tomorrow I'll do some cleaning, since... I've been on my computer almost continuously since I got it. 0_0 Some... away time is probably good...

And bed had massive dip in it because the water was... evaporating? out of the tubes. They refilled it and it's SOOOOOOOO much better...
So in the space of 3 hours, I had my room back!!! THANK YOU FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!
And my sister had hers!
Except... now she looks like she has more room in her room now. XD And I have ZERO floor space. It's a bed in a sea of stuff, and it's really tweaking out my OCD. XD But... I guess it'll be ok. I just gotta clean one thing at a time...
Like move my doll stuff... then clear a space for where the bookshelf goes, and put books over there... or maybe I should make the shelf first? No....

I found 2 pairs of slippers, and that I had WAY more stuffed animals than I imagined down the sides of my bed (2 trashbags full) and that apparently my drool was making this mattress-topper dealio I had get orange spots. EEW. All my stuff, like my comforter especially, had this layer of dinge on it, and so it's ALL in the laundry. I had a new comforter I'd never used that we got at a thrift store (NEW!) and so yaaay new sheets...

We have an Epson, and it's a dear... kinda slow, but I really like the photos I HAVE printed on it. So I'm hoping this machine can do the same, if not faster.

Ink's gonna be an arm and a leg, though. >X [ $54-57 to replace everything. It has four cartridges, though, so HOPEFULLY you won't run into some of the issues we have with the current one - like it not printing at all when it deems the color to be too low. D:

Memory: 1 GB 667 MHz RAM.

ONE FUCKING GIGABYTE????!!!

The minimum is now 2.5 GHz and 2 GB RAM.
OMGAAAAAAAAAWWWWDDDD....

I'm wondering which I should go for: 2.6 GHz, which costs 225 bucks more than 2.5, but... you're stuck with the processor you get FOREVER, or 4 gigs of ram instead of 2, which'll run you 180 bucks more, but you COULD replace later on, though probably at a higher price...

I think I might opt for 4 gigs of RAM. Since... I'm always using RAM-hoggy programs, like iMovie and Photoshop. Screw .1 of a GHz of processor...
Of course, I could get both, but then I might be in debt forever. 0_0 I still gotta gets me some Photoshop...

And WHYYYY is the Applecare plan so pricey??? But it'd be just my luck that something would go wrong if I DIDN'T get it, so... *sigh...*
